Awana

Due to recent increases in Covid cases in Champaign County and in accordance with CDC guidelines, the Governor of Illinois, and mandates/recommendations from local authorities, we will suspend AWANA until the evening of January 6th. Please check for pertinent updates about the remainder of the AWANA year.

COVID RULES

In order that we might do our utmost to help ensure the safety of our AWANA ministers and clubbers both, we have instituted new measures in accordance with CDC and local governance guidelines.

  • Clubbers will line up on the sidewalk on the marked lines to facilitate social distancing as we admit them.
  • Sparks will go downstairs and use the downstairs restrooms through the night.  T&T will go upstairs and use the foyer restroom through the night.  We will keep the two groups separated through the evening.
  • Our evening will be abridged this year and will begin at 6:30 with a 7:30 end time.  We will open the doors at 6:15 to facilitate safe transitions.  Please be prompt with these times.
  • Coats, backpacks, and etc. will be kept with your child for the duration of the evening.
  • Our clubbers will be kept a minimum of 6 feet apart and their belongings with them.  The seating will be marked and our adults will be trained and ready to help all of our students get the most out of AWANA safely.
  • This year our games will be more group oriented and will be enjoyed from our seats.  Students will not be asked or encouraged to get closer than 6 feet.
  • Masks are encouraged according to standing CDC guidelines.
  • If through the AWANA season new mandates on COVID are released the church will respond accordingly.

GRACE GIVING

Grace giving is a tangible way that we express worship and gratitude to God as our savior and sustainer. Giving enables the church to carry on Christ’s commission of making and teaching disciples. Would you prayerfully consider supporting the ministry of Bible Baptist Church in its mission to reach the lost with the gospel of Christ and then to teach them the great truths of His Word. Its our mission to know Christ and to make Him known.
